Show every colour at a glance. Swatches that work with your theme, not against it.
Mint Swatches turns your colour options into swatches on product pages and product cards, and links products you sell separately into one swatch row. Every swatch selects your theme's own variant picker, so prices, photos and stock stay right.

Swatches done properly
Add the block in your theme editor and your colour options become swatches.
A swatch click selects the same value in your theme's variant picker, so the price, images, stock, page address and Add to cart all update the way your theme already does. Tested with the real JavaScript of Horizon and Dawn.
Shopify's own option swatches first, then your colour list, then over 280 built-in colour names (in seven languages). Values like Black/White show both colours. A check of your products shows what's still text.
Swatches come from Shopify's data in the page itself, so they show without waiting and nothing on the page moves. The product page script is under 10 KB.
A row of swatches on each card's image in collections, search, the home page and recommendations, with the colour's image on hover and a +N for more. No request per card.
Sell each colour as its own product? Group them, and every product page and card shows the others as swatches that link to them. Works on any Shopify plan.
A theme block and an app embed — no code edits, no files written. Remove the block or uninstall, and your theme's picker is back exactly as it was.
Three steps, no code
Everything is set up from the app and your theme editor.
One click from the app opens your theme editor with the block ready. Put it where your variant picker is and save.
See which of your option values show as colours, and give the rest a colour or, on Pro, an image.
Turn on card swatches, link products into groups, and choose the shape and size.

Questions merchants ask
Which themes does it work with?
Any Online Store 2.0 theme that lets you add app blocks to the product page. We test against the real code of Horizon (and the themes built on it) and Dawn, including their dropdown and button picker styles. If a page has no picker for an option, a swatch opens that variant's page instead, so it never leaves shoppers stuck.
Will it add the wrong variant to the cart?
It can't: the app never sets the variant itself. It selects your theme's own picker, and your theme's Add to cart and Buy it now add whatever your theme shows.
Is a product group the same as Shopify's Combined Listings?
No. Combined Listings is a Shopify Plus feature that turns several products into one parent listing. A Mint Swatches group keeps your products separate — each with its own page, URL, photos, stock and reviews, and its own place in collections and search — and links them to each other as a row of swatches.
Do I need to set colours for every value?
Usually not. Shopify's own swatches and common colour names work straight away. Add names like “Sea Glass” once in the app and they work on every product.
Does it slow down my collection pages?
Collection and search pages get their swatch data inside the page, with no extra requests. Cards elsewhere (home page, recommendations) are looked up together, one request per 20 products, and the swatches sit on the image so cards never change size.
What happens if I uninstall?
Shopify removes the block and the embed, and your theme's own variant picker shows again. Nothing was written into your theme's code. We delete your settings 48 hours later.
